Race Night Fundraising July 2017
How big is a race night? How big do you want it to be? Fifty people – a hundred – two or three? And what sort of impression do you want to make on your guests?
Organisation is key to success – and having an experienced and professional race night team takes all the worry away on the night so that organisers were allowed to enjoy a flutter with the rest of the audience. A great way to spend an evening and raise funds for their chosen charity.
Delegate Fundraising Tasks
Once you have booked your race night company and this is really about a fund raising activity – gather your volunteers around you and delegate each one the task of selling the eight horses in that race and finding one race sponsor. Read our tips about planning a Prom Night too.
Ascot Theme Race Evening
Those are the very basics – then of course you might want to go to the races in style! As these lovely people from the Welsh Valleys did recently by theming it with a ‘Ladies Day at Ascot’. A team of beauticians treated some of the ladies to a make-over and the competition was hot for the best hat in the paddock! They continued the theme with a beautiful Ascot Cream Tea and of course a glass or two of bubbly.
If you think this might just be the entertainment you’re looking for please do give us a call. We’d be delighted to talk it over with you.
