Planning A Charity Race Night?

The perfect way to raise money for your charity or club and a fantastic night’s entertainment all in one go. We will supply you with a professional race night presenter and everything needed to run the race night. Having presented over one thousand such events, we are very happy to give you the benefit of our experience to maximise your fund raising event. Some of the very best money making ideas are below but not only that, we will make sure that a good time is had by all. Let’s face it – if you aren’t enjoying yourself, why would you spend money? With this in mind we aim to amuse the crowd with well timed media clips between and before each race to entertain and amuse.
Planning is all important – we would never advise you to book a fund raising event unless you had four to six weeks in which to do some pre-event fund raising. Here’s how…
1.RACE SPONSORSHIP – Get a local business or club member to sponsor a race for £25. A race, named after their business will be advertised on the Race Card.Profit: £200.00
2.HORSE OWNERSHIP – Sell each horse for £5 and get the “owner” to name it. Their names will be printed in the Race Card. Allowing £15 to buy a bottle of spirit for the winning owner . Profit from 8 races: £200.00
3.BECOME A JOCKEY – @ £3.00 per jockey) = £24 per race. Allow £5 for a bottle of wine for the winning jockey Profit from 8 races: £152.00
4.TRI-CAST – Winner paid on first 3 past the post on any chosen race. 336 choices at £1 per choice; £100 to the winner. Profit £236.00

And on the night itself:

1. ON COURSE BETTING – based on each person spending £1.00 on each race with your organisation keeping 50%. Profit: £200.00
2.AUCTION RACES on the night (average £10.00 bid per horse) We will sell each horse to the highest bidder on one or two races. Give 50% of the total to the winning owner, 50% to your funds (Tote would also operate on this race). Profit £80.00
3.CASH POT ACCUMULATOR (£2.00 each) On the night sell accumulators, giving 50% of the total to the winner. With just 50 sold…. Profit: £50.00
The Grand Total: £1118.00 and this is just a guideline.
